Trommel scrubber

The trommel scrubber is an essential piece of equipment used in ore processing. Typically comprising a rotating drum and internal scrapers, the rotating drum slowly churns, utilizing pebbles and rocks within it to break down impurities, clay, and soft oxides present in the ore. This process allows for thorough cleaning and liberation of valuable minerals as the material mixes with water within the drum.

After washing, the material is directed to the end of the machine, where it is screened through a sieve or trommel screen. Oversized material, larger than the desired mineral size, is separated out, while the undersized pulp can be directed to various other ore processing equipment such as mineral jigs, centrifuges, or sluice boxes for further processing and extraction of valuable minerals.
