Trommel Scrubber

The Trommel Scrubber, also known as a Rotary Scrubber or Drum Scrubber, is an essential washing equipment in the mining and aggregate industries. It is designed to wash and screen large particle ores and stones(300mm) with high mud or solid content, effectively removing water-soluble clays and producing cleaner products.

 

The trommel scrubber is widely used for washing aggregate and ores such as gravel, gold, diamond, manganese, copper, tantalum, niobium, tin, iron ore, and fluorite. The Trommel Scrubber is often paired with a gold sluice box to create a complete gold washing plant.

Working Principle
The Trommel Scrubber uses a rotating drum with internal lifters to push materials through a water stream. The lifters continuously lift and drop the material, combined with water flow, to break down clays and impurities. After washing, the material is separated into different particle sizes by a screening section.
