Alluvial Gold Wash Plant /Gold Washing Plant

Alluvial gold, also called sand/soil gold, gravel gold, placer gold, or river gold. Gravity separation is suitable for it.

This type of gold ore contains mainly free gold blended with sand/soil. Under this circumstance, the main process is to wash away the mud/soil with a rotary washing machine, and screen out big size stones/gravels with a vibrating screen, then use a sluice box & gold shaker table to separate the free gold particles from black sand concentrate from the previous stage.

Forui Machine offers complete gold wash plants irrespective of the material quality. The gold washing plant mainly includes feeding, washing, sieving, rough separation, final concentration, and gold refining; and could effectively get more than 90% gold recovery in production.

 

Technological Process

1. Feeding

Depending on the plant and material conditions, there are various ways of feeding. We can choose a vibrating hopper feeder, hopper, industrial conveyor belts, or wheel loader and excavator feed directly. Usually will make some grizzly bar on the feeding machine or hopper to remove big waste stones

 

2.Washing& screening
This process is used to wash the clay from the raw material and screen out large stones. The trommel screen is the most commonly used gold washing equipment, which is suitable for washing raw materials with no sticky clay. Gold rotary scrubber is suitable for washing raw material with much sticky clay. 
When there are more stones and less mud, a vibrating screen is also a good choice.

3.Primary Concentration

The centrifuge concentrator is suitable for the recovery of fine-grained gold ore, especially for gold particles smaller than 1mm, with a recovery rate of over 95%.
The jig machine is suitable for processing coarse-grained gold ore larger than 1mm.
The vibrating sluice is applicable to medium-grained gold ore within 2mm. Additionally, there is the cost-effective sluice box, which is used in conjunction with the gold carpet.
A gold sluice box is usually used to recover tailings from the centrifugal machine. So can get more gold.

 

4. Final Concentration
The concentrated ore from the jig machine or centrifugal concentrator will go to the gold shaking table for the final concentration, which can get high-purity gold.

5. Refining
If some customer needs very high-purity gold and needs to smelt the gold bar for sale, they can use a gold smelting furnace to smelt gold dust to a gold bar.
